Burglary — Someone broke into the scorekeeper’s box at Greenwood High School’s ballfields sometime Saturday or Sunday, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report. Reported stolen were a scoreboard controller and remote, a public address system, a CD player, CDs and stools. The stolen items were valued at $2,855.
Burglary — An apartment was broken into in the 1100 block of Kentucky Street sometime Thursday or Friday, according to a city police report. A side door appeared to have been forced open. Reported missing were a gold wedding band, computer games, binoculars, a tool kit, a DVD player, a TV, DVDs, a fan, clothing and four cans of Coca-Cola, among other items, valued at a combined $1,689.
Thefts — Two car stereo systems were reported stolen from vehicles parked Friday at Greenwood Mall, according to city police reports.
In one incident, the passenger side door of a vehicle had been pried open and a car CD player, speakers and amps, valued at $1,350, were stolen. The vehicle also sustained $50 in damage.
In the second incident, a car radio, subwoofer and amplifier, valued at $650, were reported stolen.
Theft — A 3-feet-by-35-feet sign valued at $1,500 was reported stolen from Scrapbook to Remember at 1232 US 31-W By-Pass on Friday or Saturday, according to a city police report. The sign had “scrapbook” written on it in red letters and was beside the store building.
Theft — A 1996 Dodge Neon was reported stolen from the 2900 block of Louisville Road on Friday. The victim said he left the car unlocked and the keys in the console, according to a city police report. The car is valued at $300.
Theft — Sunglasses, CDs and a basketball, valued at a combined $360, were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 3800 block of Banyan Court sometime Wednesday or Thursday. The victim told police he had left his car unlocked, according to a city police report.
