Kentucky Transportation Department crews removed the signal at Nashville and Cave Mill roads Tuesday morning.
Because of the reduced traffic flow on Cave Mill Road, the intersection no longer warrants for a signal. Traffic flow on Cave Mill decreased after Dishman Lane was improved and signals installed.
Stop signs were installed on the side streets and the signal was placed on flash a month prior to prepare motorists for the change.
Traffic on Nashville Road will have the right of way.
