Shirley Jean Duckett, 67, of Bowling Green died at 12:07 p.m. Aug. 21, 2008, at The Medical Center.

The Warren County native was a clerical manager for Jr. Food Stores, a Seventh Day Adventist and a secretary of the Richardsville Community Center. She was a daughter of the late Roy Dudley Duckett and Margery Kathleen Miller Duckett. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Duckett; and a longtime companion, Clifford Harper.

Funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, with burial in Greenriver Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include three sisters, Carolyn O’Toole and her husband, William, and Alesia Chaffin and her husband, Steve, all of Richardsville, and Kathy Ross and her husband, Lou, of Pittsburgh; a brother, Wendell Duckett of Greencastle; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
