The Bowling Green Police Department is putting together a yearbook for the department and is seeking assistance from the public in getting pictures from the past.

The goal is to get older pictures that residents might have from the department from years ago, said Officer Barry Pruitt, spokesman for the department.

“Maybe someone has a picture of their grandfather who was an officer 40 years ago,” he said.

The department wants to borrow the photos and they will be returned to the owner, Pruitt said.

Anyone with photos the department could use is asked to contact Pruitt at 393-4596.
