EDMONTON — Pauline Bailey, 85, of Center died Aug. 26, 2008, at an Edmonton nursing home.
She was a homemaker and a member of Big Meadow Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Corbert Byrd and Estelle Edwards Byrd and the wife of the late Buford Bailey. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby and Stanley Bailey; and three brothers, Cecil, William and Clifton Byrd.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday at Butler Funeral Home, with burial in Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Bailey of Center; seven grandchildren, Pam Konopa of Columbus, Ind., Greg Bailey of Glasgow, Sherry Remour of Bowling Green, Tony Bailey of Burkesville, Melissa Bailey and Michelle Bailey, both of Center, and Amanda Hadley of Columbia; two brothers, Sam Byrd of Knob Lick and Luther Byrd of Glasgow; two sisters, Florence Oswald of Ohio and Lizzie Poynter of Glasgow; and 11 great-grandchildren, including Dakota Brown, Dyllan Brown and Zachary Curry.
