Lillie Jane Woods, 88, of Bowling Green died at 5 a.m. Aug. 23, 2008, at The Medical Center.

The Barren County native was a member of Union Baptist Church in Louisville and, after moving to Bowling Green, became affiliated with Christ Assembly Apostolic Church. She was a daughter of the late Ed Woods and Bertha Garnett Woods. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Massey, Mary Lizzie Jewell and Edna Gentry.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. EDT Friday at G.C. Williams Funeral Home in Louisville, with burial in Louisville Memorial Garden West. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EDT Friday at G.C. Williams Funeral Home. Gatewood & Sons Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

Survivors include a loving sister, Sally Frances Savage of Louisville; several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; and several other relatives and friends.
