POLICE NEWS: Woman facing wanton endangerment charge

Arrest — Elizabeth S. Hunt, 48, 107 Rogers Drive, Auburn, was charged with second-degree wanton endangerment at 12:27 p.m. in the 1700 block of Cave Mill Road, according to a city police report.

Hunt’s vehicle was seen driving 70 mph east on Cave Mill Road, passing vehicles in the middle turn lane and using the westbound lanes as well, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report. She passed several vehicles, putting them in risk of physical injury, according to the report.

When pulled over Hunt said she was late getting back to work and was afraid she would lose her job, according to the report.

Burglary — There was $300 in change and bills stolen between 7 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. Monday in the 2600 block of Navajo Drive, according to a city police report.

Burglary — A brass coffee pot, bed warmer and collapsible bookcase valued at $520 were stolen between noon Oct. 6 and 3:15 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Dishman Lane, according to the city police report.
