A 17-year-old girl was charged Tuesday with first-degree criminal abuse after her daughter was taken to The Medical Center with multiple injuries.
The hospital called police to report that a 17-month-old girl was at the facility with bruises and burns from the chest down, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report.
The mother was taken to the Warren County Regional Juvenile Justice Center. Social services also responded to the hospital, according to the report. The case remains under investigation.
Arrest — Michael A. Pierce, 39, and Jeremy N. Woodcock, 30, both of Glasgow, were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a meth precursor, knowingly possessing anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container with the intent to manufacture meth, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia second offense and about 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Barren County Sheriff’s Office report. Pierce also was charged with careless driving.
Deputy Adam Minor pulled over the vehicle for a traffic stop and saw aluminum foil under the console, which prompted his request to search the vehicle, according to the report.
The deputy found several items used in meth production, along with meth residue, according to the report. The Barren-Edmonson County Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.
Pierce and Woodcock are at the Barren County Correction Center without bond.
Arrest — Craig Dashawn Hill, 41, 949 Bryant Way Apt. D, was charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree criminal mischief at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday at Kroger at 711 Campbell Lane, according to a city police report.
Hill was confronted by a Kroger employee after allegedly shoplifting and fought with the employee, causing $500 damage to the front entrance door, according to the report.
Hill is at the Warren County Regional Jail on $7,500 bond.
Burglary — A laptop computer and 30 DVDs valued at $2,016 were stolen between 11 a.m. and 2:29 p.m. Monday from a residence in the 1000 block of Adams Street, according to a city police report.
Theft — Ten light fixtures valued at $1,000 were stolen between Dec. 17 and Dec. 22 from Doctors Value Vision at 2608 Scottsville Road, according to a city police report.
Theft — A trailer valued at $1,200 was stolen between Sunday and 2 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Nugent Street, according to a city police report. Several other items valued at $700 reported stolen were recovered at Southern Recycling.
Theft — A purse, car keys and a digital camera valued at $410 were stolen between 7 p.m. and 8:14 p.m. Tuesday from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Scottsville Road, according to a city police report.
A window on the vehicle was broken, causing $200 in damage, according to the report.
Theft — An iPod and cash valued at $362 were stolen between 10:30 p.m. Monday and noon Tuesday from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Navajo Drive, according to a city police report.
