‘Tea Party’ rally to be at justice center
By the Daily News
Organizers who held a Tax Day Tea Party on April 15 have planned a similar rally for 6 p.m. today in the parking lot of the Warren County Justice Center, 1001 Center St.
Greg Jent, a rally organizer, said this evening’s free, two-hour event will feature several speakers relaying messages similar to those expressed at April’s Tea Party.
“People will be getting their message out, that we really think the country’s on a path that goes against a lot of its core principles and liberty-minded facets, and we really think we just need to get our voices heard about our increasing debt,” Jent said. “We do want to stress that we have certain conservative leanings, but we want it to be a bipartisan message.” |
