U.S. 68 to close due to orchestra event

A holiday event by Orchestra Kentucky will close U.S. 68 between Old Morgantown Road and Russellville Road from 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Western Kentucky University police will handle traffic control.

Fireworks will be set off for the orchestra’s free show, which begins at 8 p.m. on Western’s South Lawn near the Guthrie Bell Tower.
