Winfield Acres to host next Summer Stroll

By the Daily News

Residents of Winfield Acres will get to meet city officials en masse Monday evening, as the third Summer Stroll of the year winds through that neighborhood.

On Monday nights throughout the summer, elected officials, department heads, other city staff and a few from related agencies such as Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, Scott Waste Services and Warren County government walk through local neighborhoods to talk with residents, spot problems and answer local questions.

Walkers in Winfield Acres will meet at 7 p.m. at the corner of St. Albans Drive and Canterbury Way.

The next stroll is scheduled in Lind-Cliff Meadows at 7 p.m. July 20, starting at the corner of McFaddin Station Street and Clifford Way. All strolls in July and August will start at 7 p.m. The rest of the 2009 Summer Stroll schedule is full.
