Burglary, criminal mischief, theft — A TV, a handgun, a DVD player and various jewelry, all together valued at $4,475, were reported stolen from a home in the 1500 block of North Sunrise Drive on Friday, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report.
The victim reported returning home around 4 p.m. Friday and finding the glass to his home’s back door broken and the items missing. Damage to the door and a TV stand totaled $400.
Burglary, criminal mischief — A handle to the back door of Teleservices Direct, 1310 Campbell Lane, was broken off Thursday, according to a city police report. Nothing was reported missing from the business but damage totaled $200.
Burglary, theft — Electronics, a Smith & Wesson 9 mm handgun, clothing and various other items, valued collectively at $2,380, were reported stolen between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday from a home in the 300 block of East 13th Avenue, according to a city police report.
Burglary, theft — Two Genesis brand compound bows, valued at $110 each, were reported stolen from a storage building at Cumberland Trace Elementary School, 830 Cumberland Trace Road, between Sept. 25 and Oct. 12, according to a city police report.
Criminal mischief, theft — An iPhone, cash and a purse containing credit cards and other items, valued collectively at $621, were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at H.P. Thomas Park, 850 Cave Mill Road, Saturday around 3:30 p.m., according to a city police report. The window to the vehicle was smashed, causing $300 in damage.
Criminal mischief, theft — A window to a vehicle was smashed and a CD player and amplifier stolen in the 900 block of Morgantown Road Oct. 12 or Tuesday, according to a city police report. Damage and losses totaled $550.
Criminal mischief, wanton endangerment —A Bowling Green man reported discovering the brake line to his vehicle had been cut Wednesday in the 700 block of Pearce Way, according to a city police report. The victim said he suspected his ex-wife’s current husband of cutting the brake line. When contacted by police, the suspect denied cutting the brake line.
Forgery — A counterfeit $100 bill was discovered Friday at Walmart, 150 Walton Way, according to a city police report. It was unknown when the bill was used at the store, according to the report.
Theft — A 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a custom paint job featuring red flames on the hood and a fire-breathing dragon on the rear bumper was reported stolen Friday from the parking lot of Motel 6, 3139 Scottsville Road, according to a city police report.
The victim said he discovered his custom vehicle, valued at $18,000, missing from the parking lot after returning from dinner around 11:30 p.m.
Theft — Eighty bras, valued collectively at $3,600, were reported stolen from Victoria’s Secret, 2625 Scottsville Road, Friday or Saturday, according to a city police report. The bras were reported missing from storage drawers in the store.
Theft — A Glock 9 mm handgun, valued at $484, was reported stolen some time in the last year from a home in the 1800 block of Barnard Way, according to a city police report. The victim is a gun collector and discovered the gun missing recently when doing an inventory of his collection.
Theft — A computer, an iPod and several textbooks, valued collectively at $1,050, were reported stolen Friday from a vehicle parked at Walmart, 1201 Morgantown Road, according to a city police report.
