Memphis Marsha's features art and demonstrations during the World's Greatest Studio Tour

Two Bowling Green artists, Lynne Ferguson and Marsha Heidbrink, will be showing their latest pieces as well as demonstrating various media during the World's Greatest Studio Tour.  The tour takes place on Saturday November 7, 10-5 and Sunday November 8, 1-5.

As Artist-in-Residence at The KY Museum at Western, Lynne has worked with Elementary & Middle school students in Bowling Green, Warren, Barren, & Hart counties. She has exhibited with awards in local & regional art exhibitions, & her works are held in regional corporate & private collections. Lynne earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree & a graduate degree in Folk Studies from Western.

Marsha Heidbrink will be showing for the first time, the beginning of her Bowling Green souvenir gift image series. The artist has applied this first image to hand signed small paintings & keychains! Heidbrink will allow visitors to try their hand at the ancient medium of encaustic painting. Sample materials & tools will be out in the studio for viewers to try!

Meet the artists & have light refreshments for this casual event. Expected pieces will include drawing; acrylic , encaustic, oil, & watercolor paintings; collages; notecards; & gift items.
