World Greatest Studio Tour and Art Sale

The World's Greatest Studio Tour and Art Sale is an annual event designed to meet our area's leading artists, talk one-on-one, and see exciting new works! There are 21 locations throughout Bowling Green and Warren County, and 40 artists are involved. You can pick your own route, (maps are available at each site and signs will be posted)and stay as long as you like. Sat. Nov. 7, 10 AM to 5 pm. and Sun. Nov. 8, 1 pm to 5 pm.
Many sites will have refreshments as you visit with friendly artists. A portion of the artwork sales will benefit visual arts in the community. Past recipients include Bowling Green Public Libray, Capitol Arts Alliance, Lifeskills, WKU, and the local Red Cross. All of this is admission free!
The locations and artists at each one are as follows:
1. Spencer's Coffeehouse, 915 College St. Artists, Jennifer and Jesse Ray Sims (works on paper and paintings), Gayle Novick (hand-made jewelry, art prints, and notecards)
2. 513 E. Main, Artist, Alice Gatewood Waddell(paintings, mixed media, and jewelry)
3. Crocker Law Offices, 520 E. Main St. Artists, Helen Crocker (water media), Bill Van Tassel ( handblown glass)
4. The Pots Place Co-op Studio and Gallery, 428 E. Main, Six resident potters: Mary Hooper Hirst, Helen Hooper-Hirst, Bob Brigl, Laura Bain-Selbo, Norman O'Neal, Elizabeth Sheppard.
5. Capitol Arts Alliance, 416 E. Main, Artists, Phillip Holder (wall treatments, murals, drawings, acrylic paintings), David LeNoir (woodworking, turned wine stoppers, bowls, weed jars, pens and more), Laura McGee (hand-painted original silk scarves and wall hangings, silk painting demostration), Suzanne Renfrow (wood-fired ceramics, functional and sculptural), Peg Truman (drawings, paintings, prints, notepaper, photography)
6. Pushin's Building Artist's Studios, 400 E. Main, Artist, Angie Alexieff (paintings on canvas/burlap, floor paintings, exhuberant furniture, and commissions)
7. The Gallery at 916, 916 State St. Artist, Debby Modllin (Austrian Swarvorski Crystal and pearls, stone aand a variety of beaded jewelry)
8. 1246 State Street - Studio above garage: access from alley behind house. Artists, Lynette Frey Haggbloom (oil painting, kiln-fired art glass), Leslie Reuther (text-based painting, drawing and prints), Fleur Whitaker (painting, collage)
9. Satterfield Law Firm, 313 E. 10th St., Artist, Mildred Wallace (handcrafted jewelry using precious metals, semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, and Austrian crystal)

11. Memphis Marsha's Art Gallery and Classes, 524 E. 12th St., Artists, Marsh Heidbrink (drawing, painting, jewelry, notecards), Lynne Ferguson (paintings, collage, watercolor, mixed media, demonstrations)
12. Rickman Pottery, 1121 E. 14th St., Artist, Mitchell Rickman (functional stoneware pottery including place settings, casseroles, pitchers, bowls,mugs, etc.)
