Allan McDonald, author of “Truth, Lies and O-Rings: Inside the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster,” addresses an audience Wednesday at Western Kentucky University’s Hardin Planetarium. McDonald, who was involved in the launch decision, tried to prevent the launch in 1986. All seven crew members were killed when the shuttle broke apart.
