FSP: Down an Alley Filled with Cats

Fountain Square Players presents, Down an Alley Filled with Cats written by Warwick Moss and directed by Kathy Wise-Leonard at The Phoenix Theater located at 545 Morris Alley.  Dates and Times are November 5 through 7, beginning at 8:00 PM, and November 8, beginning at 3:00 PM. Cost is $12 - adult, $10 - senior/student, $8- children (under 12).  Tickets can be purchased through Fountain Square Players by calling 270-782-3119, or ordering online at www.fountainsquareplayers.org.

 Synopsis:   Timmothy Timmony is the elderly, cultured proprietor of a bookshop in a Sydney area that is being redeveloped.  The bookstore is in the last building still standing.  Simon Matthews, an uncultured but not insensitive adventurer, comes to the shop in pursuit of a particular volume at closing time.  Just as Simon discovers that the book has been sold to his archenemy, the landlord locks him and Timmony in the building for the night.  It soon becomes obvious that the book contains a code, which identifies the whereabouts of an invaluable artifact.  Through the night the two combatants maneuver for position.
