Restaurant inspections for Sept. 11-Oct. 3, according to Barren River District Health Department, are as follows:

Red White and Blue Cafe, 1313 U.S. 31-W By-Pass, follow-up required because there was no cold water at the three-compartment sink or mop sink; score 94. Passed follow-up inspection; score 99.

J.B.’s Hot Dogs, 425 Catalpa Circle, passed; score 100.

Fluid Nite Club, 904 State St., passed; score 94.

Plano Store, 3205 Plano Road, passed; score 100.

Johnetta’s Pub, 164 Iron Skillet Court, passed; score 100.

Greenwood Spirits, 2825 Scottsville Road, passed; score 100.

Burger King, 3020 Scottsville Road, passed; score 100.

Arby’s, 904 U.S. 31-W By-Pass, passed; score 100.

Stockyard Cafe, 4350 Louisville Road, passed; score 97.

BG Metalforming, 111 Cosma Drive, passed; score 98.

Ichiban Japanese Restaurant, 1423 U.S. 31-W By-Pass, follow-up required because there was bare hand contact on soup, and rice temperature was at 92 degrees; score 75. Passed follow-up inspection; score 96.

Restaurants are inspected at least once every six months by Barren River District Health Department inspectors who use a 44-item checklist to evaluate a restaurant’s cleanliness, food handling and storage.

Follow-up inspections are done, if needed.

A restaurant has 10 days to correct its problem if it scores below an 85 or is cited for a critical violation.
