The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service asks landowners, farmers and producers to visit their local NRCS office to receive information and to apply for conservation technical assistance and possible funding.

While the application process for programs is continuous, funding selections are made at specific times throughout the year. The Kentucky NRCS first application cut-off period is Friday. Applications received after that will be held until the next application cut-off period, which is April 19.
