Warren County sheriff's deputies arrested Stephen Joshua Garland, 23, of Nashville on Sunday on a charge of receiving stolen property under $10,000, according to a release from the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office investigated Sunday several calls of theft from vehicles in the Boiling Springs Road area. All the vehicles were left unlocked, according to the release.

Deputies identified Garland as a suspect, which led to the recovery of most of the stolen items.

Garland told deputies in an interview that he stole items from more than 10 vehicles in the Boiling Springs Road area, the release stated.

Garland is in the Warren County Regional Jail on $5,000 bond. Garland will likely face additional charges, according to the release.
