With a May 15 deadline looming, the American Postal Workers Union is pressuring Congress to pass legislation that would allow the U.S. Postal Service to fix some of its problems.

Full-page newspaper advertisements urge residents to tell U.S. senators and representatives “to fix the USPS without destroying service or eliminating 100,000 jobs.”
