Warren County officials are grappling with new state House and Senate district boundaries, which they project will cause voter confusion and cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in new precinct costs.

The 2010 census necessitated some changes, and Gov. Steve Beshear signed a law last week that redraws district lines that basically criss-cross state and local districts in Warren County. The House and Senate approved the boundaries before they went to the governor for his signature.

So here goes the opinion of just one of the many Voter / Taxpayers. My suggestion is that Warren County Judge-Executive Mike Buchanon, Warren County Clerk Dot Owens, State Rep. Jody Richards, D-Bowling Green and any other people who need to go make a day trip to Frankfort and explain that I Bob Talley as well as each and every other Voter / Taxpayer pay enough and our elected need to re-think this latest attempt at redistricting. This is just like our elected to perform a task and forget that tiny little thing like paying for it.Oh wait....Of Course the bottomless pit and always open and full Taxpayer ATM.
