Warren County Public Schools Superintendent Tim Murley has resigned.

Murley announced his resignation, effective Feb. 28, at tonight's school board meeting at Briarwood Elementary School.

Murley cited personal reasons for stepping down. He has been with the district more than 30 years, serving as superintendent for the past several years.

Board President Kerry Young said after the meeting that the school board will name an interim superintendent and will decide whether to form a search committee or to hire a company to conduct a superintendent search.

Unfortunately you got it wrong. He RETIRED and did not resign and there is a difference there. Please make a correction there. A great guy like Tim deserves to have that correction. Thanks in advance for making it.
