A Bowling Green man was arrested Tuesday after an allegation that he raped a 12-year-old girl.
Casey T. Pruden, 21, 62 Coral Court, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday at Three Springs Road at Bailey’s Farm and charged with second-degree rape.
According to a Bowling Green Police Department arrest report, Pruden had sex with the girl in a dressing room at a clothing store at Greenwood Mall.
The girl said she told Pruden she was 12, the report said. Pruden refused to give a statement to police, according to the report.
He remains in Warren County Regional Jail under a $100,000 bond.
Burglary, criminal mischief — Someone attempted to break into a residence in the 700 block of Fairway Street between midnight and 4 a.m. Thursday, according to a city police report. The victim said the frame to her back door had been cracked. Nothing was taken from the residence. Damage totaled $300.
Sentencing — Malina Starr Cunningham, 23, of Franklin, was sentenced Monday to three years in prison in Simpson Circuit Court for second-degree criminal abuse of a victim younger than 12.
Cunningham had been charged Oct. 1 in connection with neglecting to report serious injuries incurred by her infant child while they lived together.
Theft — Someone stole a bag containing pilot’s equipment from outside a hangar at Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport, 1000 Woodhurst St., between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday, according to a city police report. Losses totaled $3,051.
Theft — Someone stole a white gold ring with a turquoise stone and a pair of white gold earrings from a residence in the 700 block of Patton Way between 6 p.m. Sept. 7 and 7 a.m. Monday, according to a city police report. Losses totaled $900.
Theft of registration plate — Someone stole a license plate decal from a 1996 Plymouth Voyager parked at Mark Muffler, 5220 Scottsville Road, between Aug. 11 and Sept. 1, according to a city police report.
