The Western Kentucky University Forensics Team this past weekend won the National Forensic Association National Championship Tournament and the National Forensic Association Lincoln-Douglas Debate National Championship.

WKU sent 40 competitors with 181 entries to the national tournament, with 28 advancing to the final round.

The victories give WKU wins in the two major national tournaments (NFA and American Forensic Association), plus the international title. WKU is the only university to do this. This is the sixth time WKU has won two national tournaments, plus an international title. WKU won the state title for the 24th consecutive time this year.
