RUSSELLVILLE — Bernard E. Bryan, 79, of Russellville died July 1, 2009, at Logan Memorial Hospital.
The Logan County native was born March 31, 1930. He was a service technician for Atmos Energy and served in the Army National Guard. He was a Russellville volunteer fireman for 32 years. He was a son of the late Johnny Bryan and Lillian Traughner Bryan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Rosser.
Funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he was a member, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Young Funeral Home, Russellville chapel.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Vincent Depaul Society at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church to help the needy of our community.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lolita Bryan; two sons, Stan Bryan and his wife, Darlene, of Nicholasville and Ricky Bryan and his wife, Donna, of Russellville; two daughters, Mary Pat Helton and her husband, I.E., and Lillian Riley and her husband, Donnie, all of Russellville; a brother, David Owen Bryan of Russellville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
