Brenda Sue Killebrew, 62, of Bowling Green, died at 4:50 p.m. Aug. 15, 2010, at the Hospice Center.

The Bowling Green native was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught in Grayson County Schools for 33 years. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and a graduate of Western Kentucky University. She was a daughter of the late Roy Flowers and Edith Clark Flowers of Bowling Green, who survives.

Funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel. The family will have a private burial service. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include her husband of 38 years, Martin Killebrew; a sister, Lynda Johnson and her husband, the Rev. Jim, of Bowling Green; a brother, Don Flowers and Patsy Lane of Franklin; a niece, Jennifer Bertrum and her husband, Nick, of Cleveland, Ohio; two nephews, Jason Polete and his wife, Sara, of Louisville and Sean Polete and his wife, Carrie, of Dayton; and a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Stan Polete of Hopkinsville.
