MORGANTOWN — Mack Gabbard, 56, of Rochester, died Aug. 30, 2010, at The Medical Center at Franklin.

The Ohio County native worked in construction and mining and was a member of the American Legion. He was a son of the late Cleatus Leslie Gabbard and Ola Willis Gabbard of Morgantown, who survives.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Threlkel Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and begins at 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include three sons, Adam Quincy Gabbard and his wife, Jamey Lynne, of Morgantown, and Andrew Jackson Gabbard and Jacob Nicholas Gabbard, both of Rochester; three grandchildren, Caleb Adam Gabbard, Autumn Brooke Gabbard and Cassidy White; a brother, Harry Thomas Gabbard and his wife, Barbara, of Roundhill; a sister, Karen Gabbard Phelps and her husband, David, of Morgantown; and a nephew, William Cleutus Gabbard and his wife, Brooke.
