Thomas “Tom” Edward Prow, 75, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Nov. 29, 2013, in Nashville.
A native of Hopkins County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lola Prow. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Otho Tippett.
Tom was the beloved husband of Charlotte Prow and the devoted father of Karen Kafoglis (Zach) and Summer Wilson (Scott). He was the grandfather of Ethan and Ellie Wilson of Bowling Green.
Tom was a member of The Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green and was plant manager at Sealed Power Corp in Franklin. Tom was a Kentucky Colonel since 1967, a member of Rotary International, the chairman of Associated Industries from 1982 until 1985 and a past board of director of the Franklin-Simpson Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from WKU with a bachelor’s degree in business education in 1962 and a master’s in business in 1969. While at Sealed Power, he received several awards including the Copland Hallmark Award, Chrysler Pentastar Award, Pace Award “top 10 plants in the nation” and Industry Week Award “top 25 plants in the nation.”
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Inurnment will be in The Presbyterian Church columbarium.
