The Bowling Green Hot Rods named Adam Nuse the team’s new general manager/chief operating officer.
Nuse replaces Ryan Gates, who left shortly after the season to take a job unrelated to baseball closer to where he was raised in New Jersey.

Nuse comes to the Hot Rods after serving as the vice president for the Corpus Christi (Texas) Hooks in the Double A Texas League since 2009.
He began his professional baseball career as an intern with the Round Rock Express in Round Rock, Texas, in 2001. Nuse is the third GM in Hot Rods history, joining a franchise that was recently sold to Manhattan Capital Sports Acquisition, headed by Stuart Katzoff.
Nuse said he is excited about the opportunity with the Hot Rods.
“I’d never been to Bowling Green, Kentucky, but I’ve known the Katzoffs and what they have done” with the other franchise they own, the Triple A Reno (Nev.) Aces, Nuse said. “When I heard they were looking at buying this team in Bowling Green and doing some renovations and bringing this club, it really got me excited to come up here. I fell in love with Bowling Green the second I came here.”
