The Western Kentucky football program received two verbal commitments Monday – one from D’Von Isaac and one from Darrell Young.
Isaac is a 6-foot-3-inch, 285-pound lineman who played both sides of the football at Alpharetta (Ga.) High School. He originally committed to Alabama-Birmingham and has offers from Alcorn State, Bowling Green, Florida International, Fresno State, Idaho, Marshall, Memphis and Utah State. He is ranked a three-star prospect by ESPN.com and 247sports.com and a two-star prospect by Rivals.com.
Young is a 6-1, 205-pound linebacker from Boyd Anderson High in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He has no other reported offers.
Isaac and Young join Marcus Adams, Maurice Bennett, Raphael Cox, Drew Davis, Johnny Delaney, Devante Duclos, Jalen Edward, Juwan Gardner, DaMarcus Glover, Rashad Greene, Aaron Jackson, Leverick Johnson, Shaquille Johnson, Kyle Jones, Brandon King, Cam Lewis, Justin Martinez, Kelvin McCoym Nicholas Norris, Joseph Occipinti, Dalton Patterson, Connor Popeck, Todd Porter, Tanner Reeves, Kalvin Robinson, Donald Rocker, Jimmie Sims, De’Andre Simmons, Isaac Tanner, Lonnie Turner and Marcus Ward as part of the 2013 signing class.
