Junior Keith Tooley, making his Western Kentucky tournament debut, shot a final round 75 on Tuesday to finish 11th in the ULM Wallace Jones Invitational in Monroe, La. The men’s golf team finished 10th overall in the event.

Tooley, a Warren East High School graduate, shot 73-78-75 for the tournament to lead the Hilltoppers. He finished with a 226 after entering the event fifth in the WKU lineup.

Sophomore Nate Johnson was WKU’s second-highest finisher at 27th overall in the field. He shot a final round 81. Johnson was followed in the lineup by Logan Edelen (55th), Conor Griffiths (tied for 56th) and Nick Thompson (tied for 56th).

The Hilltoppers head to the Sun Belt Conference Championships on April 22-24 in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
