The Western Kentucky football program picked up a commitment from Drew Davis on Saturday. Davis is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound linebacker from Bob Jones High School in Madison, Ala.

Davis was named Huntsville Times defensive player of the year after making 165 tackles this season. He made 120 tackles as a junior.

He holds offers from Murray State, Tennessee-Martin and Tennessee Tech.

Davis joins Leverick Johnson, DaMarcus Glover, Todd Porter, Aaron Jackson, Nicholas Norris, Shaquille Johnson, Marcus Ward, Johnny Delaney, Kyle Jones, Marcus Adams, Ismael Aurismond, Devante Duclos, Jalen Edwards, Juwan Gardner, Chris Huhn, Justin Martinez, Joe Occhipinti, Dishan Romine, LaBront Scott, Isaac Tanner, Dontravious Wilson and junior college signees Raphael Cox, Connor Popeck, Maurice Bennett, Dalton Patterson and Lonnie Turner as part of the 2013 signing class.
