Former Western Kentucky linebackers Andrew Jackson and Xavius Boyd will participate in the annual East-West Shrine Game at 3 p.m. CST today at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Jackson and Boyd will suit up for the East team, coached by Jerry Glanville. Boyd, projected as a seventh-round draft pick or free agent signee by nfldraftscout.com, led WKU in 2013 with 103 tackles, 151/2 tackles for loss and 81/2 sacks. Jackson, projected a fifth-round draft pick by nfldraftscout.com, recorded 95 stops, 81/2 for loss and one sack.

The game will also feature Romeo Crennel, a Western Kentucky athletic hall of famer, who will be coaching the game’s West team.

The contest will be televised live by the NFL Network.
