The Western Kentucky men’s tennis squad travels to play Murray State at 2 p.m. today before heading to Athens, Tenn., to face Tennessee-Wesleyan at 11 a.m. Saturday.

WKU is coming off a 7-0 victory at Alabama A&M to improve to 3-6 on the season. The No. 1 doubles duo Josh Smith and Alex Taranda are riding a four-match win streak. Smith, a senior, also leads the team in singles wins with six. Senior J.T. Closi and sophomore Alex Stewart have won three doubles matches in a row, with one of those three coming at the No. 2 slot.

Murray State won last year’s match 6-1.

WKU and Tennessee-Wesleyan will meet for the first time.
