After graduating Bowling Green High School, Kyle Frederick moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music.   He has since played with some of the biggest names in country as well as served as tour manager for Clay Walker and general manager of Sondaddy Publishing Co.

Before going to music city, Fredericks played in a variety of local bands including TyBarc.  Once in Nashville he hooked up with old Bowling Green friend Randy Goodman playing for Ed Fitzgerald and Civic Duty.  He then played with Joe Sun and invited Kevin Lovelace to join them as sound man.  In the meantime Goodman had moved to RCA and soon called Fredericks to put together a band for Earl Thomas Conley.  He toured with Conley for five years and then returned to Sun in 1987.  After returning from that 3 month tour he was asked by Bill Lloyd to join Foster and Lloyd - another of Goodman's RCA projects.  In addition to Lloyd, Goodman and Frederick, Bowling Green natives Marc Owens and Byron House were part of the band.

Byron House was working with Castle Production and Publishing Company when the owners noticed Fredericks and signed him as a production artist.  He put out a solo project called In This House which drew label interest.    Jonell Mosser, John Cowan and Chris Carmichael were also featured on the CD. 

His next band was The Alaskans which maintained a local following in Nashville and he worked for the ad agency Gish Sherwood and Friends.  In 1992 Byron House called upon him for his showcase band for Clay Walker.  When the band split up Clay hired Fredericks as band leader and then road manager and he continued to play guitar also. 

Frederick decided to concentrate on the business end and retired as guitarist to become the general manager of the label and tour manager for Clay Walker.
