The new Dale Hollow Lake State Park Marina is open and will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 24 at 11 a.m. CST.

The marina has nearly 200 boat slips, a ship’s store for the latest in boating gear and accessories, a conveniently located fuel dock and is full of the state of the art amenities that any boating enthusiast would come to expect. Boats can be rented and there’s also a boat ramp available.

“We’re glad to be able to have this marina open for our guests at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park,” Parks Commissioner Gerry van der Meer said. “This adds to our other excellent amenities at this park.”

The $6 million investment by the Webb Companies of Lexington replaces a 36-slip marina. Dale Hollow Lake’s 28,000 acres are known for excellent fishing and boating.

The marina, which is operated as a private concession, is just a few minutes from the 60-room Mary Ray Oaken Lodge. The park also has a restaurant, campground, trails for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking, and an award-winning golf course.
