SCOTTSVILLE — Mark Fykes, 46, of Scottsville died at 6:42 p.m. Sept. 19, 2008, at The Medical Center at Scottsville.

The Weston, W.Va., native was a former hair designer and an employee of the Wagon Wheel Enterprises. He was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and attended Scottsville Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Roy Lee Fykes and Barbara June Woods Fykes of Scottsville, who survives.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.

Other survivors include two brothers, Matt Fykes and his wife, Maria, of Franklin and Joseph Lee Fykes and his wife, Risa Ann, of Scottsville; a sister, Julia Fykes of Bowling Green; five nieces and nephews, Emily, Cheyenne and Brandon Fykes and Kristal and Bradley Sullivan; and a great-nephew, Cameron Smith.
