Kayden Vargas

Kayden Vargas was promoted to cadet second lieutenant and received the Billy Mitchell Award, the Southern Kentucky Cadet Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol announced.

He has completed four encampments since 2016, Region Cadet Leadership School, Honor Guard Academy and was selected as the 2017 Distinguished Graduate of Hawk Mountain Ranger School. He has many achievements and has been awarded the Air Force Organizational Excellence Award and the Find Ribbon and he is the 2018 Cadet of the Year for Kentucky Group II.

Vargas is the son of Phillip and Ashley Hunt.
