BOWLING GREEN – Tommy Gravil, a beloved father and cherished friend, passed away on March 23, 2024 at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories.
He was born May 24, 1965 in Bowling Green, KY and attended school in Bowling Green City School System. Tommy brought laughter to everyone he encountered. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel at ease, or at the least he would keep you on your toes.
Tommy’s greatest joy in life was his son, Zackery. He cherished every moment spent with Zachery and was actively involved in his upbringing, instilling in him values of honesty, integrity, and perseverance. Tommy’s love and guidance will forever be etched in Zachery’s heart.
Tommy attended Crossland Church and took pride in making sure Zackery was in church regularly, where he was and who he was and Zackery was rarely out of his sight. Tommy was also a loyal friend. He had a passion for being outdoors and Mustang Cars and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Tommy had a successful career at TPM GROUP and Parrish Recycling & Towing where he garnered respect from his colleagues.
Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, he consistently went above and beyond to ensure the success of his projects. His dedication to his company were unparalleled, earning him the admiration and respect of all who had the pleasure of working with him.
Tommy Gravil will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May his soul find eternal peace, knowing that he made a lasting impact on the lives of those around him.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held on Wednesday March 27, 2024 at JC Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel at 2:30 – 4:30 Visitation with the service at 4:30. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a memorial set up for his 12-year-old son Zackery Gravil, at Franklin Bank and Trust.
Rest in peace, dear Tommy. Your craziness, laughter, and kindness will forever be remembered and celebrated.
Tommy is survived by his son Zackery Lee Gravil, Zachery has two sisters, Madison Elmore and Hannah Mcaley. Tommy’s mother, Youdene Pierce, his father Eddie Gravil, his brother Eddie Gravil, Chris Gravil and Tim Gravil.
