Joe Imel

Joe Imel is chief photographer for the Daily News. He joined the staff of the Daily News in 1992.

Joe is a Fort Knox native whose previous experience includes work for newspapers in Hardin County and McLean County. He is Region 4 director of the Kentucky News Photographers Association and is a previous KNPA, NPPA Clip Contest and Kentucky Press Association award winner. He is also an alumni advisor for Kappa Sigma social fraternity.

Joe and his wife, Tracy, have a son, Zack.
