Bowman Stirling Tighe III and Ann Mitz Dooley

Ms. Mitzi Dooley of Bedford, Va., and Mr. Thomas Leslie Dooley of Bowling Green announce the engagement of their daughter, Ann Mitz Dooley, to Bowman Stirling Tighe III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bowman Stirling Tighe Jr. of Ridgeland, Miss.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Collins Dooley of Roanoke, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stanhope Dooley of Athens, Tenn.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Webber Clifton Gatlin of Laurel, Miss., and the late Bowman Stirling Tighe Sr. of Jackson, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Sebastian Moore of Madison, Miss.

Miss Dooley is a 2011 graduate of Bowling Green High School. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2016 with a master’s degree in education. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is currently employed by the Rankin County School System as a third-grade teacher at Stonebridge Elementary.

Tighe is a 2011 graduate of Jackson Academy. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2015 with a degree in business administration, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He received a master’s of business administration from Arkansas State University in 2017. He is currently employed with Boeing Corp. in St. Louis.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Nov. 24, 2018, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Oxford, Miss., with a reception at Castle Hill Plantation immediately following the ceremony.

They will reside in St. Charles, Mo.
