CAVE CITY Leslie Gwen Williams Sr., 95, of Cave City died April 13, 2002, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.The Ohio County native was a retired carpenter, cabinet maker and clockmaker, was voted Mr. Cave City and was a member of Cave City Baptist Church, Cave City Masonic Lodge No. 790 F&AM, serving as Master and District Deputy Grand Master of District 12, and Cave City Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star No. 252, where he was a Pop and served as Worthy Patron and Deputy Grand Patron of District 20. He was a son of the late Andrew Williams and Josie Roark Williams.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home with Masonic and Eastern Star services at 7 p.m.Survivors include his wife, Flossie Ann Wright Williams; a son, Leslie Williams Jr. of Caruthersville, Mo.; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Neville of South Padre Island, Texas; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
