Mervin L. Mike Watson Jr., 57, of Bowling Green died at 5 p.m. July 13, 2005, at his residence.

The Evansville, Ind., native was a certified public accountant for Fruit of the Loom and Camping World. He was a member of Kentucky Society of Public Accountants and Tennessee CPA. He was a son of the late Mervin L. Watson Sr. and Helen Harpending Watson.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Greenwood Baptist Church, where he was a member and church treasurer, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Bowling Green, 1027 Broadway Ave., Bowling Green, KY 42104; Greenwood Baptist Church, 5165 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104; or Salvation Army, 401 W. Main St., Bowling Green, KY 42101.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Grimes Watson; a daughter, Starla Michelle Parsons and her husband, Charley, of Bowling Green; a brother, Warren Watson of Evansville, Ind.; six stepgrandchildren, Candice Holder, Charles Parsons Jr., Russell Parsons, Victoria Parsons, Clinton Parsons and Brittany Jo Parsons; and eight great-stepgrandchildren, Curtis Holder, Kaylee Parsons, Andrew Parsons, Jackson Miller, Russell Parsons Jr., Devin Settle, Jaden Settle and Gavin Petty.  Daily News ·813 College St. ·PO Box 90012 ·Bowling Green, KY ·42102 ·270-781-1700
