Martinsville Missionary Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m. Preaching will be at 11 a.m., followed by a potluck meal and singing by Freedom.

Oakland Christian Church, 409 Church St., will have a Sunday Funday Cookout on Sunday after the 10:30 a.m. service. There will be food, live music, family fun, an obstacle course and games.

Horse Cave First Baptist Church will have its 151st church anniversary and homecoming Sunday. Pastor Hugh Heater will be the morning speaker. Pastor Keith Rowletts and Harlows Chapel Baptist Church will be afternoon guests. Lunch will be served upon the guests’ arrival.

Eleventh Street Baptist Church, 1035 Kenton St., will have Youth Day at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Dante Paul and Stoney Point Baptist Church will be guests. The church will have vacation Bible school June 11-13. Classes will be available for all ages. The Rev. Dr. Carl E. Whitfield is pastor.

Cornerview Community Church, 6378 Louisville Road, will have EGNITE Youth Revival at 11 a.m. Sunday, then continuing from 6 to 9 p.m. June 15-19. There will be classes, musical guests, dancers, rap artists and more. Special guests will be Gifts of Praise, who will also serve as the emcees during the revival. The Rev. Darren Bush is pastor.

Mount Herman Missionary Baptist Church in Adairville will have Choir Day on Sunday. The Rev. Ronald Williams will be the 9:30 a.m. guest speaker. The Rev. Lee Fishback is pastor.

Elder Randy Thompson of Camden, Tenn., will assist the pastor, Billy Moran, in a revival that starts Friday and continues nightly at Fairview Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 1150 Fairview Ave.

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 874 E. 11th Ave., will have Men’s Day at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. The theme will be “With the Power of God, Men Coming Together Will Stand on Top.” The Rev. Lamonzeo Bunton, associate minister, will be the guest speaker. Frederick Hill is pastor and Minister Estella Hill is first lady.

The Garmons will sing at 11 a.m. Sunday at Chandlers Chapel Methodist Church on Hwy. 103, north of Auburn, for homecoming and at 6 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church in Oakland.

The Sneed Family will sing at 10:30 a.m. June 30 at Temple Hill Baptist Church in Temple Hill.

Gloryland Gospel Church, 1761 Bowling Green Road in Scottsville, will host the gospel group DEAN at 6 p.m. June 16. They are well-known for their song “You Can’t Tell Me I’m Dying” written by Tony Dean. For more information, call Pastor Chris Calvert at 270-622-9351.

Jackson Hills General Baptist Church in Shepherdsville will sponsor the Turner Family Homecoming/Reunion Sing at 7 p.m. EDT Saturday. Guest singers will be Heart and Soul of Louisville. Refreshments will be served after the singing, and there will be special recognition to the Turner Family for their many years of service singing.

The Turner Family of Bowling Green will sing at 10 a.m. Sunday for homecoming at Echols General Baptist Church in Ohio County.

The 20th annual Kentucky Southern Gospel Music Singing Convention will be at 5 p.m. June 28 and at 3 p.m. June 29 at Cave City Convention Center. There will be a variety of singers during the convention. Admission is free.
