Local attorney serving 10-day sentence for DUI

Travis Lock

A Bowling Green attorney Friday began serving a 10-day sentence in the Warren County Regional Jail stemming from a 2015 DUI charge.

According to Warren County Jailer Stephen Harmon, Travis Lock started serving the 10-day sentence after a commitment order was issued from district court.

According to a Kentucky State Police citation record, Lock was arrested and charged with DUI on Nov. 5, 2015.

Until May 2018, Lock was the attorney for Timothy Madden, who is charged with murder, kidnapping, first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy in connection with the Nov. 14, 2015, death of 7-year-old Gabriella “Gabbi” Doolin of Scottsville.

Lock was disqualified from that case by Allen Circuit Judge Janet Crocker and replaced by Tom Griffiths, capital trial attorney with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy.
