The Logan County Sheriff's Department is seeking help to locate a wanted woman and her daughter.
According to a news release from the department, Deputy Jakop Smith was approached at the sheriff's office by a man who said he was granted emergency custody of his daughter May 30 through Logan Circuit Court after the mother, Amanda Marie Otero, 32, did not appear at the emergency custody hearing with her 3-year-old child, Amya Grace Otero.
Amanda Otero is a white female who is about 5-foot-1 and 120 pounds with blue eyes and dark hair. She may be going by her maiden name, Amanda Marie Pytko. She could be staying in Bowling Green or Oakland but also has ties to Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
Amya Grace Otero is a white female with brown eyes and blonde hair. She is about 3 feet tall and weighs 37 to 40 pounds.
Amanda Otero is the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant and is considered possibly armed and dangerous, according to the sheriff's office.
