A man suspected in taking part in the robbery of a White Castle restaurant in Glasgow last week was arrested Monday.

Jon-Evan Meredith, 36, of Glasgow, was arrested on a warrant charging him with second-degree robbery, according to the Glasgow Police Department, which was assisted in its investigation by the Hart County Sheriff's Office and the Barren River Drug Task Force.

The White Castle was robbed June 5. An employee reported that a man grabbed her arms and forced her into the kitchen, but she screamed and another employee tried to help.

The robber forced both employees to the cash register and made them open it. He left through a side door with an undetermined amount of money and ran from the scene, according to GPD.
