Scottsville, Kentucky - Della Mae (Waters) Snook, 84, of Scottsville, Kentucky passed away March 25, 2019 at Cal Turner Care and Rehab.

Della was born May 13, 1934 (Mother's Day) in Lebanon Junction, Kentucky to the late Arthur Bryant and Stella (Hall) Waters. She was a "good and faithful servant" and went to be with the Lord and to see her husband who had gone before her in 1998. She was one of ten children, six of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include her three sons and two daughters-in-law who were her inner circle of love, Roger (Sandy), Russell (Laura), and Charles; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren including her youngest granddaughter and best friend Avree; three brothers, David (Dorothy), Edgar (Caroline), Ron (Donna) who are all dear to her heart; and several nieces and nephews scattered across the nation and England. The Snook family would like to give special thanks to Kimball and Brenda Willoughby, Steven Wright, and Bro. Don Key of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Scottsville and the staff at Cal Turner Extended Care and especially the nurses and CNA's that gave such loving care to Momma or "Miss Della" as they called her.

"Go rest high upon the mountain – your work on earth is done." We will see you later. Her remains will be buried with her husband at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Florida. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels.
