Harold M. Fields

Harold Milton Fields, 73, of Bowling Green, died at 12:06 a.m. Jan. 3, 2011, at The Medical Center.

The Warren County native was born Sept. 3, 1937. He was a retired self-employed painter and construction worker. He was a veteran and a member of American Legion Post 23. He was a son of the late James Milton Fields and Ina Howell Fields.

A private graveside service was held at Brock A. Beery Veterans Section of Fairview Cemetery. A private viewing was held at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice Rigsby and her husband, John, of Bowling Green, and Judy Hilkert of Indianapolis; two sisters, Frances Burr and her husband, Bob, of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Laura Jeanette Gibbens and her husband, Randy, of Phenix City, Ala.; three brothers, Joseph “Bill” Fields and his wife, Alice, of Alvaton, Jimmy Wayne Fields of Franklin and Clifford Earl Farmer of Arizona; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
