TOMPKINSVILLE — Norma Denham Dyer, 85, formerly of Tompkinsville, died Jan. 4, 2009, at a Louisville nursing home.
The Monroe County native was born Oct. 26, 1923. She was a daughter of the late Frank Denham and Maude Proffitt Denham and the wife of the late Mack Dyer, whom she married on Aug. 12, 1945. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nell Martin.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church of Tompkinsville.
Survivors include two brothers, Leon Denham of Louisville and Arlie Denham of Benton; three sisters, Velma Lyon and Naomi Smith, both of Louisville, and Edna Johnson of Bowling Green.
